Course Outline

Theory:

Two full days of theory training in the classroom, which cover:

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SIT UNIT STANDARD 17577 OR DO ANY OF YOUR PRACTICAL DRIVES UNTIL YOU HAVE OBTAINED YOUR CLASS 5 LEARNER LICENCE 

Note: If you don't pass your Learner Licence or have any trouble studying for your test, you can enquire about one of our Learner Licence courses.

Practical drives:

• 1 x three hour practical training drives
• 1 x three hour practical driving assessment

Please note: Drives are subject to Truck and Trainer availability and are conducted over 2 separate days. The vehicle for practical drives will be supplied by PassRite (except Hamilton branch).

Upon successful competion of your training programme, you will be issued with a NZ Transport Agency certificate, which you will need to take to any NZTA approved Driver Licencing Agency (AA or VTNZ) to have your licence upgrated to a Full Class 5 Licence with no further tests required. Both unit standards (US 24089 & US 17577) will be credited to your NZQA Records of Learning. 

You are NOT licenced to drive on the road until you have uploaded your Full Class52 onto your Driver Licence.

BY ENROLLING INTO A PASSRITE DRIVING ACADEMY COURSE YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS POLICY

REFUND /CANCELLATION POLICY:

7 WORKING DAYS prior to course start date:  No Cancellation Fee / FULL REFUND if pre-paid

3-6 WORKING DAYS prior to course start date:  50% Cancellation Fee / REFUND if pre-paid

2 WORKING DAYS prior to course start date: 100% Cancellation Fee / NO REFUND if pre-paid

PRACTICAL TRAINING CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY: 

Less than 24 hour notice results in a fee of $195.00 plus GST per cancelled/rescheduled drive.
