F Endorsement Course

This course covers US18496 (V2) Demonstrate knoweldge and skills for driving a forklift on a road for endorsement F (forklifts).

The above unit standard enables you to operate a forklift in a public area. Eg. Street, culverts, ferries, motorway etc. 

The below classes of licence allow you to operate the following forklifts:

• NZ Class 1 Full Licence (with an F endorsement) covers forklifts with a Gross Laden Weight of up to 18,000 Kg. 
• NZ Class 2 Full Licence (with an F endorsement) covers forklifts with a Gross Laden Weight exceeding 18,000 Kg.

*Please note that the licence endorsement and licence class systems work together

• You MUST HOLD a current NZ Class 1 Full Driver Licence
• You MUST HOLD a current Forklift Operator Competency Certificate

Theory:

Takes approximately 1-2 hours in the classroom and covers:

• US18496 (V2) Demonstrate knowledge and skills for driving a forklift on a road for endorsement F (forklifts)

Practical:

Takes approximately 15 min per person and covers the following:

• Pre vehicle safety checks 
• Stacking and de-stacking 
• The safe operation of the equipment 
• Re-fuelling 
• Parking and storage 

Upon successful competion of your training programme, you will be issued with a NZ Transport Agency certificate, which you will need to take to any NZTA approved Driver Licencing Agency (AA or VTNZ) to load the F Endorsement onto your driver licence. The F Endorsement unit standard (US 18496) will be credited to your NZQA Record of Learning. 

You are NOT licenced to operate a forklift on the road until you have uploaded your F Endorsement onto your Driver Licence.

3-6 WORKING DAYS prior to course start date:  50% Cancellation Fee / REFUND if pre-paid

2 WORKING DAYS prior to course start date: 100% Cancellation Fee / NO REFUND if pre-paid

PRACTICAL TRAINING CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY: 

Less than 24 hour notice results in a fee of $195.00 plus GST per cancelled/rescheduled drive.
